(for how you'd like to work together)
Submissions close March 16th.

Every now and then I have the feeling that there are probably all sorts of interesting ways people would like to work with me that simply never occur to me while I’m sitting here thinking up my offers.

So I thought it might be fun to turn the whole thing around.

Instead of me deciding what the options are, I’m opening the floor and inviting you to pitch me an idea.

If there’s ever been a way you’ve wondered about working together- something you’d love help with, a project you’d like company for, a conversation you’ve been wanting to have, or an idea circling round the spaces of your mind, this is your opportunity to tell me all about it.

This is intentionally very open-ended. I’m curious about the things that don’t always fit neatly into a predefined container.

What Your Idea Might Look Like

Your idea might be something small and focused, or something that unfolds over time. It might be practical, creative, reflective, collaborative, or some slightly unusual combination of all four.

To give you a sense of what this could look like, you might pitch something like:

  • a one-off session to unmuddle something in your creative life

  • a conversation to help shape an idea or project that won’t leave you alone

  • a period of mentorship while you bring something meaningful to life
  • a creative planning session where we map out the next chapter of your work

  • a collaboration or experiment you’ve been wondering about

  • a day together (online) to think, plan, and make

  • or something completely different that I haven’t thought of yet

Half-baked thoughts are absolutely welcome. You don’t need to arrive with a perfectly formed plan. If anything, I’m particularly fond of the ideas that start with “I’m not quite sure how to explain this but…”

Part of the joy of working together is taking those slightly tangled thoughts and turning them into something clear and workable.

Here's Some Things I'm Good At...

While this invitation is intentionally open-ended, it might help to know the kinds of things people often come to me for.

I’m especially useful in that slightly messy middle space where there’s a lot of possibility but things aren’t entirely clear yet. I’m very good at helping people untangle ideas, find the thread inside a project, and turn something that feels vague or overwhelming into a direction that actually feels doable.

A big part of the lens I bring comes from fifteen years working in movement education and nervous system health, exploring how the body, attention, and emotional states shape what we’re able to think, imagine, and create. Which is to say: I’m not just interested in the idea itself, but also in the conditions that allow good ideas to exist in the first place.

Some of the things I’m often helpful with include:

  • shaping and developing creative projects

  • getting unstuck when your creative practice has become sticky

  • turning half-formed ideas into something clear and workable

  • planning the next chapter of your creative work

  • building creative practices that work with your nervous system rather than against it

  • restoring curiosity, joy, and momentum when things feel heavy

  • having thoughtful conversations that help you see your work differently

I’m also very happy working with people who simply want a considered brain alongside theirs for a while. Someone to bounce ideas off and help make sense of what’s emerging.

If something in that general neighbourhood is what you’re looking for, there’s a good chance we’ll have a very interesting time together.

Possible Formats

  • Live conversations on Zoom

  • Asynchronous voice notes via Voxer (a text and audio app)

  • A few sessions over time or a short support container

  • Creative planning sessions

  • Occasionally, in-person time at my studio in New Zealand

Here's How This Works

When you send through your idea, you can name what you would be willing or able to pay. The  minimum start point is $97 USD for anything we do together. Beyond that, the format, scope, and structure will depend entirely on the idea itself.

The way this will work is fairly simple:

  1. Send me your pitch

  2. I’ll read it and may say yes to exactly what you’ve suggested or come back with a tweak or adjustment that makes it more workable on my end. I may send a counter-offer with a slightly different structure or format. And if I don’t think I’m the right fit, I’ll say that too!

Think of this less as a formal proposal and more as the beginning of a conversation where we figure out what would make sense for both of us.

Nothing you suggest will be insulting, too small, or too ambitious. The whole point of this is curiosity and possibility.

I’m genuinely interested to see what’s sitting in your head that might never appear if I simply kept publishing neat little boxes of offers.

So if you’ve ever found yourself thinking, I wonder if Jane would ever…  this is your moment.

Pitch me your idea.

Tell me what you’re thinking about. Tell me what you’d love help with. Tell me the slightly wild or half-formed thought that’s been tapping you on the shoulder.

And let’s see what we might be able to make together.
