We’re flinging open the doors for Open Studio week, and you’re invited (for free!) to step straight into the middle of Creating Wild and experience what it’s like to be a member.
From the 16 – 24 May you’ll have full access to the real, living experience of the space. You can join our live sessions, drop in for some virtual co-creating and spend time inside the community spaces, joining conversations, or simply getting a feel for what it’s like to be part of Creating Wild.
This Open Studio week also happens to land right at the beginning of Art Under The Influence, our season of creative cross-pollination.
We’ll be listening to other artists and makers share their processes and work as a way to borrow ideas, perspectives, and sparks from outside our usual lanes and see what happens when they inevitably collide with our own creative practice in unexpected and delightful ways.
Creating Wild is my membership community where we explore what creating looks like in practice, and how making things can become part of your everyday life in a way that feels real, doable and fun.
Joining Open Studio week is a completely free, no strings attached deal. It’s an opportunity for you to come in and see what it’s like; for you to step inside Creating Wild, join us for our live sessions over the course of a week, and get a genuine feel for the space without needing to commit to anything upfront.
Once you sign up (which, again, is entirely free), we’ll send you everything you need to know to get yourself in the room, including how to join the live sessions and access the replays for the duration of the week, so you can take part live or catch things in your own time depending on how your days are looking.
At the end of the week, you’ll have the option to become a member and stay on if it feels like a good fit for you, and if not, there’s nothing you need to do at all- your access will simply wrap up at the end of Open Studio week.
📆 Dates: Saturday 16 – Sunday 24 May (or Friday 15 – Saturday 23 if you’re in the Northern Hemisphere)
Duration: 8 Days
Access: All live sessions + replays for the week, including community spaces.
Details for how to join the sessions, places and spaces will be sent to you after signing up and available on your Open House Dashboard.
Investment: Free

Hi, I’m Jane 👋 I’m a artist, writer, and creative mentor and your host for Open Studio week!
I’m interested in what it looks like to live a creative life in the middle of a full, complicated one, and how we keep making things without it becoming heavy, pressured, or unsustainable.
For the past 15 years, I’ve worked in somatic and movement therapies with a focus on nervous system health, which shapes how I think about creativity.
I’m curious about the relationship between the body, the nervous system, and creative practice, and how that connects us not just to ourselves, but to each other and the wider world.
I’m really looking forward to showing you around and getting to know you a little while you’re here. Come say hello when you arrive!
Not at all. You’re welcome to dip in and out across the week in whatever way works for you.
There’s no expectation that you keep up or attend everything, and absolutely no gold stars for perfect participation (although I do love me a gold star ⭐️).
That’s completely fine. You’ll have access to replays for the duration of Open Studio week, so you can watch things in your own time and still get a good sense of what’s happening.
Nope. You’re very welcome to join in, ask questions, and share things if you feel like it, but you can just as easily sit back, observe, and take it all in.
Lurking is a perfectly legitimate way to be here.
You don’t need to arrive as a fully formed Creative Person™ to be here.
Creating Wild is very much about making things in ways that fit your actual life, whether you’re just starting, returning to something you’ve left for a while, or already have a practice and want support to keep it going.
At the end of Open Studio week, your access will come to a close, and you’ll be invited to stay on as a member of Creating Wild if it feels like a good fit for you.
If not, there’s nothing you need to do at all- your access will be revoked at the end of the week.
Yes, it is. This is a genuine “come in and see what it’s like” invitation.
You’ll be invited to stay on as a member at the end of the week, but there’s no pressure to decide anything before you’ve had the chance to experience it from the inside (well, there will be no pressure full stop!).
Open Studio access is for the week only, so once it wraps up, your access will close.
If you decide to stay on as a member, you’ll continue to have access to everything inside Creating Wild, including future sessions, community spaces, and ongoing support.
